To improve plastic extrusion efficiency and reduce production costs, our company has systematically upgraded the traditional SE series single-screw extruders for energy conservation. This series is widely used in PE/PP pipes, sheets, granulation, and plastic recycling, and is one of the most widely used models in the market. This upgrade has attracted widespread attention in the industry.
The new series adopts a high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor combined with intelligent frequency conversion control, achieving a significant reduction in power consumption. The screw structure has been redesigned, improving shearing efficiency and plasticizing capacity, thus increasing the unit energy utilization rate. Test data shows that under typical PP granulation conditions, the overall machine energy consumption is reduced by an average of 15%–18%.
To enhance intelligence, the SE series has added a remote monitoring module, allowing users to view equipment parameter fluctuations, operating status, and historical records, improving production controllability and maintenance convenience. At the same time, the new control interface is more intuitive, adding "one-button start/stop" and "one-button emptying" functions, significantly improving the user experience.
In terms of safety, the equipment incorporates multiple protection logics, including abnormal temperature alarms, over-torque protection, and interlock shutdown, improving operational stability.
Currently, the new SE series is operating at multiple recycling industry customer sites, with feedback showing significant energy savings, stable pellet quality, and reduced equipment maintenance costs. It is expected to be widely adopted in more industries in the future.
