A modified plastics plant in Suzhou increased its output from 380 kg/h to 550 kg/h using a TSE-65 twin-screw extruder

Client Background: The client mainly produces black masterbatch, color masterbatch, and some high-filler masterbatch, requiring high dispersion performance and stability.

Problems and Pain Points: The original equipment had low torque, easily causing material blockage when encountering high-filler CaCO₃, limiting output.

Our Solution: We selected the TSE-65 high-torque twin-screw extruder, equipped with:

•       new combination of mixing elements
•       high-pressure exhaust system
•       fully automatic loss-in-weight feeder
•       water ring pelletizing system

Actual Results:

• Output increased by over 45%
• Better particle dispersion and increased brightness
•       Downtime reduced to 20% of the original rate. The client was satisfied with the upgrade and subsequently added one more production line of the same specifications.
